Online Banking is a tool that goes far beyond the scope of confirming your account balances and transactions. It allows you to perform more sensitive transactions, such as domestic and international transfers, and changes to your contact information, to name a few.

Additional verification steps for unusual requests
When we receive from you a transfer request that is unusual -.be it an ACH, a transfer to an account outside of OAS FCU, or a wire transfer-, we will place a temporary hold on it while we confirm that you requested it. Also, when you request a change of address we will perform additional verifications steps, such as requesting a security code. |

Verification process
If, when you request a transaction, you see a message that indicates it’s on hold, it means that we will contact you to confirm it. For security reasons, we will make the verification by phone; we will call you at the number you have listed on our database. Please don’t call us: this won’t help your transfer request. If we cannot reach you before the scheduled sending time listed on the transaction confirmation email, we will be forced to cancel it.
Remember: our goal is to protect your account from fraud. To ease this process, we need your help in keeping your contact information up to date because we will always make these verifications by phone. |
